Pentagram

EleNão – Part 3

Preview — Oct 26, 2018

Third instalment of protest posters from Brazilian-born Pentagram partner Marina Willer, featuring submissions from Kiko Farkas, Gianluca Alla and Stuart Watson.

Jair Bolsonaro threatens the world, not just Brazil’s fledgling democracy.

“The international community must take action and support Brazilian democrats, regardless of the outcome of the presidential election. This is particularly so because Bolsonaro’s ideas represent a deadly threat to freedom, fundamental rights, achieving any Earth balance to climate change and Brazil’s young democracy.” – Association Autres Brésils, co-signed by Noam Chomsky and 14 others.

These posters have created for anyone wanting to use their platform, voice and influence to speak up and encourage Brazilians against voting for a man that represents such a dangerous retrogression.

Millions of people in Brazil have united in a campaign against Bolsonaro, who has a deplorable history of making offensive comments against women, black people and members of the LGBTQI community. The far-right presidential candidate has seen his huge poll lead cut by six points ahead of Sunday’s vote, but he is still the front-runner – and there is work to be done.
