Pentagram partner Matt Willey teams up with editor Dan Clowe to launch a new large-format literary magazine dedicated to publishing diverse writing, art, design and photography.

INQUE is a new large-format literary magazine from Pentagram partner Matt Willey and his friend and longtime collaborator Dan Crowe, the editor and founder of Port and Zembla. The project is launching via Kickstarter, with the first issue slated for 2021.

INQUE will publish annually, one issue per year for 10 years, from 2021–2030, and then it will stop. The magazine is dedicated to commissioning and publishing diverse global writing and extraordinary art, design and photography, with contributions from writers and artists like Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Brian Eno, Samuel L. Jackson, Hanif Kureishi, Jonathan Lethem, David Lynch, Cillian Murphy, Bridget Riley, Tilda Swinton and our very own Paula Scher, among many others. Print only in a limited run, with no advertising. Rewards include t-shirts and totes, and prints by Chris Anderson and Jack Davison.
