Lilly Pulitzer

Refresh of the American resortwear brand inspired by the Palm Beach aesthetic.

Lilly Pulitzer was a true creative original and a visionary entrepreneur who had a brilliant idea and turned it into a phenomenon.

The Lilly Pulitzer logo has always been a script typeface, purportedly based on her handwriting, but it has appeared in various iterations.

Characteristics from several of the previous logos have been incorporated into the new wordmark, with a contemporary script that is strong, simple and powerful.

The logo can be used with a horizontal baseline.
Neon sign concept for stores.

Retrospective: Shakespeare in the Park

In 1954, impresario Joe Papp began a summer tradition of staging free outdoor performances of Shakespeare, inaugurating the Public Theater’s beloved Shakespeare in the Park festival. Pentagram partner Paula Scher, whose relationship with the Public spans four decades, has designed a new identity for the series for thirty consecutive summers. Each campaign is customized to the season’s theme, creating a highly visible graphic vocabulary for outdoor advertising, social media, and on-site signage.
