Pentagram Papers 38: The Russian Garbo documents the design and construction of the Sten-Frenke House, the home designed by Richard Neutra for the Russian movie star Anna Sten in Santa Monica, California and restored by Pentagram. The paper tells the story of evolution of this modernist masterpiece, its architect and owners through reproductions of Neutra's original documentation and the post-renovation photography of Julius Shulman.
