Pentagram

‘Pentagram x Deus Ex Machina’

An exhibition exploring design, craftsmanship and the culture of making at Pentagram‘s Osh Gallery.

Bringing together a race car, new products, and reworked clothing, the exhibition is the latest chapter in an ongoing collaboration between Pentagram and Deus Ex Machina.

Print by Matt Willey.

The cars appear in floor-to-ceiling sliding panels in the exhibition, and as holograms in the gallery windows.

A selection of garments have been upcycled and customised by Deus Ex Machina, including a set of six T-shirts, a pair of overalls and a Harrington jacket.

Retrospective: Shakespeare in the Park

In 1954, impresario Joe Papp began a summer tradition of staging free outdoor performances of Shakespeare, inaugurating the Public Theater’s beloved Shakespeare in the Park festival. Pentagram partner Paula Scher, whose relationship with the Public spans four decades, has designed a new identity for the series for thirty consecutive summers. Each campaign is customized to the season’s theme, creating a highly visible graphic vocabulary for outdoor advertising, social media, and on-site signage.
