Brand identity refresh for the own brand office furniture and accessories line from Office Depot.

Realspace is the own brand office furniture and accessories line from Office Depot, one of the world’s leading providers of business supplies and workplace solutions. As part of a streamlining and repositioning of Office Depot Europe’s own brand portfolio, Pentagram updated the visual identity of Realspace to reflect the stylish and elevated design of the collection.

The refresh keeps the lowercase concept of the previous logo, but opts for a more engineered, modular design. An organic oval shape inspired by the backrest of an office chair gives the logotype a sharp and elegant appearance in line with the outstanding quality of the products.

The typography of the wordmark extends to a visual language for the branding, where the letterforms can be used to echo the structural design of the furniture and to create graphic patterns that evoke environments, surroundings and interior spaces.
