The team designed a custom SCENARIO wordmark and arranged it as a modular logo on a 3×3 grid.

The grid system repeats throughout the brand, with colored blocks framing photographs and imagery across print and digital applications.

SCENARIO is a textile company based in Keqiao, one of China's largest textile hubs. The company treats textile creation as both a technical craft and an artistic process, with bespoke solutions that creatively address the unique needs of every client. Pentagram designed a brand identity and website that reflects this approach.
The team designed a custom SCENARIO wordmark and arranged it as a modular logo on a 3×3 grid. The grid system repeats throughout the brand, with colored blocks framing photographs and imagery across print and digital applications.
Custom Chinese characters were drawn to match the Latin wordmark in weight and structure. Noto Sans SC and Pitch serve as supporting typefaces for Chinese and Latin text.
The team extended the system to SCENARIO's fabric swatch book and website, and commissioned photographer Jack Davison for the brand's first product photoshoot.
