Stanley Kubrick exhibition attracts record numbers

After an extended run at the Design Museum in London, Stanley Kubrick: The Exhibition has finally closed its doors.

Stanley Kubrick is the Design Museum’s most successful exhibition in terms of ticket sales, visitor response, and critical reaction.

As a curator, it was hugely satisfying to work with the Pentagram team on the design of every aspect of the show.

There was a real meeting of minds on how best to tell the story of a great filmmaker, in a way that impressed those who knew everything about Kubrick, and delighted those who didn’t.

Retrospective: Shakespeare in the Park

In 1954, impresario Joe Papp began a summer tradition of staging free outdoor performances of Shakespeare, inaugurating the Public Theater’s beloved Shakespeare in the Park festival. Pentagram partner Paula Scher, whose relationship with the Public spans four decades, has designed a new identity for the series for thirty consecutive summers. Each campaign is customized to the season’s theme, creating a highly visible graphic vocabulary for outdoor advertising, social media, and on-site signage.
