Using thoughtful copywriting, animation and UX design to create a green system of giving, capable of delivering immaterial gifts.

Ungifted separates Christmas from presents, encouraging people to treat their loved ones to shared experiences.

The web-based Ungifted application guides users through a series of thoughtful animations that depict environmentally-friendly, experience-based gifts.

To help those that need a little inspiration, Do The Green Thing has included a suggested list of over two dozen Ungifted experiences.

The Ungifted branded e-card contains the sender’s name, details of their chosen Ungifted and a call to action that encourages the recipient to send their own Ungift.

Retrospective: Shakespeare in the Park

In 1954, impresario Joe Papp began a summer tradition of staging free outdoor performances of Shakespeare, inaugurating the Public Theater’s beloved Shakespeare in the Park festival. Pentagram partner Paula Scher, whose relationship with the Public spans four decades, has designed a new identity for the series for thirty consecutive summers. Each campaign is customized to the season’s theme, creating a highly visible graphic vocabulary for outdoor advertising, social media, and on-site signage.
