Published in the wake of the IPCC's Special Report on Global Warming, the Issue spotlights one of the lesser considered culprits of excessive meat consumption: dog food.

The Issue's researched editorial untangles antiquated cultural norms from contemporary circumstances, and debunks the often emotional objections to plant-based dog diets.

The Pentagram-based environmental public service Do The Green Thing has released its eleventh Issue: ‘Why your dog can – and should – go vegan’.
Published in the wake of the IPCC's Special Report on Global Warming – which warns that a massive reduction in meat consumption is vital to guarantee future food supply – Issue 11 spotlights one of the lesser considered culprits of excessive meat consumption: dog food.
The Issue's editorial dispels antiquated beliefs about meat-only dog diets and debunks emotional objections to plant-based alternatives. It is complimented by a series of tongue-in-cheek illustrations by Andrea Chronopoulos, which ponder the modern dog's classification as a natural carnivore.
The Issue closes with ‘Happy To Be Vegan,’ a specially commissioned photo-series featuring five plant-powered pooches, at varying points in their vegan journeys. Shot by photographer Rachel Oates, the series provides social proof for owners thinking about making the switch, and is a powerful first-hand testimonial for vegan dog diets.
