Great Jones

Soup-to-nuts brand identity for a direct-to-consumer kitchen company offering stylish and affordable cookware.

The branding uses vintage colors, lush illustration and witty messaging to resonate emotionally with consumers and tap into the nostalgia of cooking as a communal activity.

Great Jones cookware arrives in colorful, instantly recognizable packaging that stands out from other boxes on the stoop.

The exuberant, visually rich approach stands out from the muted style of most direct-to-consumer brands targeting millennials.

Retrospective: Shakespeare in the Park

In 1954, impresario Joe Papp began a summer tradition of staging free outdoor performances of Shakespeare, inaugurating the Public Theater’s beloved Shakespeare in the Park festival. Pentagram partner Paula Scher, whose relationship with the Public spans four decades, has designed a new identity for the series for thirty consecutive summers. Each campaign is customized to the season’s theme, creating a highly visible graphic vocabulary for outdoor advertising, social media, and on-site signage.
