Starbucks

Data visualization installation and augmented reality experience for the Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Milan.

The installation is the centerpiece of the store: a floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall visual representation of Starbucks history and its coffee, engraved in brass by local craftsmen.

With the AR app, the wall is turned into a living artwork, providing access to extra content such as videos from farms and roasteries, and information on the history of Starbucks and on coffee culture from around the world.

Retrospective: Shakespeare in the Park

In 1954, impresario Joe Papp began a summer tradition of staging free outdoor performances of Shakespeare, inaugurating the Public Theater’s beloved Shakespeare in the Park festival. Pentagram partner Paula Scher, whose relationship with the Public spans four decades, has designed a new identity for the series for thirty consecutive summers. Each campaign is customized to the season’s theme, creating a highly visible graphic vocabulary for outdoor advertising, social media, and on-site signage.
