Data Driven Experiences
The world we inhabit today is governed not only by written language or images, but by something vast and intangible: data. Data determines how meaning is assigned, how decisions are made, how value is calculated — in short, how the modern world works. Data is everywhere, and it is the designer’s challenge to make this invisible world vivid, compelling and human.
We may think that data is objective and immutable, but it is as susceptible to interpretation as any other kind of communication. Thrillingly, it also has the same potential to bring ideas to life, help us understand ourselves, and make connections with others. Data-driven experiences go beyond the familiar worlds of data visualizations and dashboards into wholly new ways of creating narratives. It is a field with infinite potential and the capacity to inform everything from brand identities to communications programs to campaigns and spaces.

Visualization is not about simplifying reality; it’s about providing an access to complexity.

I see data visualisation design as the combination of my artistic side and my extremely rational one. What drives me is the overlapping space between analysis and intuition, between logic and beauty, between numbers and images.

I believe that almost every data set deserves a customized way to visualize it because every data set is unique.
